I think it should be a. Because In b , there would be more than 1 structures possible for B.

even i think it should be (A).
first consider option (A),
there is only one monochlorination product possible i.e. the chlorine can bond to any of the carbons which will result in the same structure.which on coupling will give only one product.

for option (B) on mono chlorination more than one products are possible as the chlorine can attach to either of primary , secondary , tertiary carbon resulting in more than one structures for 'b'.which on coupling will give more than one products.

I didn't look at the word ONE. in the q.

If that is the case then a should be the answer since in b 1°,2°,3° Carbocations can be formed.

Please note that is presence of light and elsewhere when mono chlorination occurs, the pathway is FREE RADICAL mechanism.
