urgent: reactivity of SN1 vs nucleophilic addition

the reactivity of SN1 increases with the stability of carbocation where as that of nucleophilic addition rxn decreases with stability of carbocation??

In a sense this is correct. More stable(read : more substituted) the carbocation formed by electromeric effect, lesser is the chance of nucleophilic addition.
Rather than checking the stability of carbocation, we check the steric hindrance of the C atom involved for nucleophilic addition, because electromeric effect is temporary and occurs in presence of reagent.
Electromeric effect and carbocations are diff...should not be judged together.
