Gaseous state!!

There are n containers having volumes V, 2V, ......., nV. A fixed mass of a gas is filled in all containers connected with stopcock. All containers are at the same temperature if pressure of first container is P then What is the final pressure when all stopcocks are opened??

take two containers...first
then the volume of 1st 1 will be v and 2nd one will be 2v
applt gas equation
pv=p12v
this will give u the pressure of second container that p1 is v/2
now aplly this to full system
pfinalvfinal=pv+p/2*2v+p/3*3v.........p/n*nv.
summ of n terms=n*(n+1)/2
so now pfinal= 2p/(n+1)n
