a cubical block is floating inside a bath. The temp of the system is increased by a small temp T. It was found that the depth of the submerged portion did not change. find relation between coeff of linear expansion α of cube and volume expansion of liquid γ
plz give explanation also

Density of liquid is M / V1

F = V2dg

mg =V2dg
m = A*hd

Since the height remains the same h is constant
New A2 = A(1+2 α*T)
Since 2α = β where α is coeff of linear expansion while β is coeff of area expansion

Change in density = M/V1(1+γT)

m = h *A * M/V1
After increase of T
m = h * A(1+ 2α*T) * M/V1(1+γT)
m = m
2α = γ
