A container is divided into two equal portions. One portion contains an ideal gas at pressure P and temperature T, while the other portion has a perfect vacuum. If a hole is opened between the two portions, find the change in energy and change in temperature of the gas.

change in internal energy=0
so change in temperature=0...
luk when gas(ideal) expands against vacuum, no work is done on it...
plus i assume no heat to be leaked to the surroundings, so ∂U=0
or ∂T=0...
