7 men and 7 women are sitting around a table so that there is a man on either side of a woman, the number of sitting arrangements is
(a) (7!)2
(b) (6!)2
(c) 6!7!
(d) 7!

first sit women on the table = (n-1)! ways
then their would be n gaps B/W them
make the man sit there ways =7! ways
ans 6!7!

when women would be seated their would be 7 gaps

hey subhash if we make 7 women sit in a circle then they will create 7 gaps not 6.....

well i'd a similar question
7 men and 7 women are seated around a round table such that no two women sit together
there the answer comes 7!6!

but in this question i think the clue lies somewhere in the words
either side of a woman

bhaiyas and sirs pls help me out
