the question is perfectly correct and the answer is 8

see here are the triangles BCG, ADH , ECG , FHD , DAF , BCE , AHF , EGB , FDA with each equal as they are diagnols of square with equal sides .
Advice : pls have a 3D cube with you if u are not able to visualise it
