An eight oared boat is to manned by a crew chosen from 11 men, of whom 3 can steer but cannot row, and the rest can row but cannot steer. In how many ways can the crew be arranged, if the two of them can only row on bow side ??????

11 people.. 3 can steer...
8 can row (2 can row on one side..... 6 on both sides)

Now you have to fill 4 each..

on the left and on the right...

You have to take cases of how many ppl have u chosen who can steer..

I also dont know what does steering mean...

i mean how many ppl can steer etc...!! :(
