I'm too getting -4/3 . The book may be wrong.

Did you do it by factorisation? If yes then post that solution please.

factorizing method se bhi kiya simply write 3^3-x as 3^3/3^x and u will get a quadratic in 3^x so we factorize as (3^x-3)(3^x-9)
and clearly denominator is 3^3-3^3x/2 now simply cancel 3^x/2 -3 and put x=2 giving -24
