hey i am damn sure... u missed a term...

it shud be : 2, 5 , 12, 31, 86 , so on...

becoz...

2 = 30 + 1

5 = 31 + 2

12 = 32 +3

31 = 33 +4

86 = 34 + 5

.
.
.

basic assumption while solving question must be : The question is 100% correct and the question setter has a perfectly sounding mind... [3] [4]

well sky... may be the question is wrong or may be u r limiting ur analysis as u feel d question is wrong... so think once again, there may be another such relation possible that forms the given sequence... [1]

Hey Sky, now that you had started, why not find out the 10 terms and add them manually.[3]

It's an AGP and there is a standard method to solve these questions............[2] Thing is I forgot it. [2]
