y = 2|x| - cos(Î x)

x²+ 2=2|x| - cos(Î x)

these are even functions
so lets take the positive x only

x²-2x+1=-1 - cos(Î x)

(x-1)²= - 1 - cos(Î x)

Now LHS is positive

RHS is â‰¤0
