2) on doing partial fractions u'll get

\frac{1}{x-1}-\frac{1}{x}-\frac{1}{x^{2}}-\frac{1}{x^{3}} (I THINK SO)

sO THE ANSWER IS log\left|\frac{x-1}{x} \right|+\frac{1}{x}+\frac{1}{2x^{2}}

So answer is

log\left|x+1 \right|-\frac{1}{x}
