sum to infinity

Lim (n → ∞) <summation> r=1 to n tan-1 (1r2+3/4)

plz help me out in this..... facing a bit prob...

First we split the tan inverse part......
11+r2+3/4-1
=11+(r+1/2)(r-1/2)
=(r+1/2)-(r-1/2)1+(r+1/2)(r-1/2)
thus

tan-1(r+1/2)-tan-1(r-1/2)

now on puttin further values of r we get pie/2 +tan-1(1/2)
AM I RIGHT?????????????

almost correct.. except the final answer which should have been

pi/2 - tan-1 1/2

not + (also keep in mind that it is pi not pie :P)
