Since 5% of voters did not vote, then 95% of the voters cast their votes.

Out of these 95% of votes, the winning candidate secured 4847% of the votes.

Hence, percentage of votes secured by the other candidate = (95 - 4847)% = 4637%

Let x be the total no. of voters.

Then percentage of voters voting for winning candidate = 4847% of x

or, 4847% X x

No. of winning votes = 5100
or, Votes for winning candidate - votes for losing candidate = 5100
or, x100(4847 - 4637) = 5100

or, x100(217) = 5100

Now, solve for x to get the total no. of voters
and using percentage of votes, you can find the no. of votes for each candidate
