This is not a general form.............
It is just a method to find the eqn of a circle when three points r known.
for circle through (a₁,b₁), (a₂,b₂), is given by

(x-a₁)(x-a₂)+(y-b₁)(y-b₂)+λy=0

This is not a concept.
I saw this in an assersion reason question earlier[108]

To state it more clearly (it is a concept)

a circle passing through two points (a₁,a₂) and (b₁,b₂) where these two points are the ends of a diameter

(x-a₁)(x-a₂)+(y-b₁)(y-b₂)+λ(eqn of line passing through the two points)=0

the above is one of the methods to find the eqn of circle passing through three points we then substitute the third point :)
