i think if these circles touch or cut one another then the other condition is satisfied..they shud nt touch at (1,1) but one of the points if they cut may be (1,1)

i think this kills the problem!

simply use family of circles ;

u will get Pâ‰ -1 and Pâ‰ âˆš6

i too used family, n got k=[p²-6]/2p+7

here k=0 or 1/0 is okay, isn't it?

(1) and some others say (2)

i solved and got (2)....i want you guys to come out with wat's right!
