two matrices are equal if and only if they r of smae order and then corresponding elements are equal.
from this we get 2k=3a
3k=2b
-4k=24
1that was my doubt b555,.............r they equal in all cases,..........
1A = [ 0 2 ]
3 -4
kA=[ 0 3a ]
2b 24
i.e. k[ 0 2 ] = [ 0 3a ]
3 -4 2b 24
[0 2k] =[0 3a]
3k -4k 2b 24
using equality of matrices
-4k=24
k=-6
and 2k=3a
2*-6=3a
a=-4
similarly b=-9
