it means delhi is the capitalised form of the word india

hence india is the lower case of delhi

If L(x,y : x is the capital of y)

Then, L(DELHI) = INDIA

Hence, L-1 (INDIA) = DELHI

INDIAL = DELHI ----( since L is raised to power -1 we take it in denominator)

IN AL = HEL --------------(Cutting the common terms)

IN A = HELL -----------(Multiplying both sides by L)
